Ignite Consulting
I had the opportunity to collaborate with Ignite Consulting by traveling to the University of Iowa to capture moments from the "Engineering Success Conference," hosted as part of Trio Upward Bound's Saturday Academic Academy.  My role was to document the event's energy and impact, showcasing how Ignite Consulting empowers young minds through education and innovation.
Ironworkz Co
Collaborating with IronWorkz Co. has been an exciting journey as they gear up for THE Summit, a two-day entrepreneurial conference designed to help businesses "crack the code" to reach the next level. My role involves providing high-quality videography and editing services, from crafting promotional videos that generate buzz to producing interviews that highlight the event's mission and key players.
Flourish Church
I had the opportunity to work with Flourish Church in Northwest Indiana to capture their heartwarming Winter Wonderland event. This family-focused celebration was filled with joy and activities, featuring games, hot chocolate, a nativity scene, Mr. and Mrs. Claus, and much more. Through photos and an edited recap video, I helped showcase the magic of the event and the church's dedication to creating memorable moments for the community.
Valparaiso University
My work with VU has included capturing the College of Arts and Sciences, the World Languages and Cultures Department, the Education Department, and the Student Life Division. These projects allowed me to highlight the university’s diverse offerings and dynamic learning environments. It’s a great example of how Nick Designs can support educational institutions in showcasing their programs and connecting with their audiences.
Upperkutz Grooming
I had the pleasure of working with Upperkutz Grooming, a Black-owned barbershop based in Indiana. The photos were captured primarily for use on the shop’s website which I was also hired to design and for marketing purposes. I highlighted the barber, Clarence Knight, in action and showcased the unique vibe of his space, which reflects his personality and interests, blending pop culture and spirituality. It was an honor to help bring his vision to life and support the growth of this local gem.
Pink Diamonds Spa & Nails
Working with Pink Diamonds Spa & Nails was a rewarding experience. I captured professional storefront and branding photos to elevate the spa’s website design that I worked on and for their marketing efforts. These images were designed to showcase the warm, inviting atmosphere of the space and provide high-quality visuals for her website
Hustler's MBA
I had captured key moments at the Hustler's MBA book signing event for author Sean T. Long. Collaborating with Hustler's Collective, I photographed the event’s highlights and crafted an engaging reel to showcase the energy and significance of the launch. It was inspiring to see a vision centered on empowering entrepreneurs come to life, and I’m proud to have played a part in documenting this milestone.
Everything Premium
I partnered with Everything Premium, a clothing brand, to capture the excitement of their new location’s grand opening. Through photos and video, I documented the milestone event, showcasing the brand's growth and vibrant community. Part 1 of the video series teased the transition from the old space to the new, building anticipation. Part 2 highlighted the sleek interior of the new store and the lively grand opening celebration. 
Riic The Jeweler
I collaborated with Riic The Jeweler, a traveling jeweler based in Chicago, to create dynamic video content. This included documenting jewelry deliveries and capturing memorable events, such as when Lupe Fiasco showcased Riic’s jewelry while walking out Ryan Garcia at a high-profile boxing match. The videos highlight Riic’s craftsmanship and the unique experiences he brings to his clients.
Shuler's Stable Boxing Gym
I had the opportunity to work with Shuler's Stable Boxing Gym, a community-focused gym dedicated to training all ages, with a special emphasis on empowering kids. I captured dynamic photos of a training session, highlighting sparring, workouts, and the discipline that goes into every moment of preparation. These images were designed to showcase the gym’s spirit and dedication, and were featured on the website I designed as well as for marketing purposes. It was an honor to help tell the story of a gym that builds strength, character, and resilience in its athletes.
NWIBCC
I had the privilege of providing event photography for the Juneteenth Celebration hosted by the Northwest Indiana Black Community Connection (NWIBCC). This vibrant event brought together a diverse array of Black-owned businesses, professionals, and community organizations, showcasing everything from custom jewelry and flavored popcorn to the work of a talented children’s book author. Capturing the energy and unity of this celebration was a meaningful experience, and I’m proud to have helped highlight the incredible talent and entrepreneurship within the community.
Kappa Alpha Psi
I had the honor of providing graphic design services to both the Gary Alumni Chapter and the VU Rho Tau Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi. My work included designing a variety of materials such as flyers, event graphics, and ticket designs for several events, including celebrations for Christmas and Juneteenth, as well as a classy event called the Red Steppers Affair. It was a pleasure to help these chapters elevate their events through professional design, contributing to their impactful celebrations and initiatives.
Doer Football Camps
I had the opportunity to design key visual materials for Doer Football Camps, an annual event held in Detroit, MI, for high school athletes. My role included designing the event flyers, shirt design, and camp logo. The camps offered participants valuable experiences, including drills/training, recruitment tips, and financial literacy guidance. The second round of camps also featured advice from NFL players and college teams, helping to further inspire and prepare athletes for the next steps in their football careers.
POP (Project Outreach & Prevention)
I had the privilege of working with the POP Foundation to design promotional materials for their impactful initiatives. The two events I worked on were Partying with a Purpose and Safe School Week, which focused on raising awareness about gun safety. The POP Foundation, founded by Dr. Mike McGee and later joined by Dr. Reuben Rutland, was created out of a commitment to address the rise in teenage violence.
Mt. Sinai Hospital Chicago
I worked with Dr. Mike McGee to not only update, but to create a Spanish version of an existing flyer for Mt. Sinai Hospital Chicago. The front-and-back flyer highlighted the features of their Express Care services, helping them effectively communicate their offerings to a wider audience.
Logos
I have had the opportunity to design unique logos for a range of businesses and organizations, including an entrepreneurial hub for women, a real estate agent, and a freight dispatching company. Each logo was thoughtfully crafted to reflect the brand’s identity and vision, helping these clients establish a strong and professional presence in their respective industries.
